Chyna Tucker

ACSW, MSW — THERAPIST

Chyna is an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW118169) serving as a dedicated clinician, college counselor, and mental health and substance use addiction researcher. She received her B.A. in Psychology and Business form University of Southern California, and Master’s in Social Welfare from University of California, Los Angeles.

She creates inclusive and safe spaces where individuals, couples, and families can tap into their innate potential to enhance their well-being. Her practice embraces and celebrates individuals of diverse backgrounds and identities, with a specialization in empowering and advocating for the health and resilience of BIPOC and international women and girls.

Chyna uses an eclectic approach that draws elements from Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed practices. These approaches examine generational and behavioral patterns which facilitate the development of fresh pathways for new experiences.

Her clients are teens, adults, couples, and families who are navigating complex challenges, looking for peace — just looking for someone to check-in with! They seek a supportive and empathetic therapist who can help them build resilience, overcome obstacles, and reach their physical, mental, and emotional goals.

Experienced in navigating personal and familial challenges, loss, and disappointment, Chyna approaches clients with a warm heart and a listening ear, extending her hand in compassion and understanding. She recognizes the crucial role of finding the ideal therapist who suits your needs, and would be honored to join you on your path to healing.

Chyna is supervised by Kim Simmonds (LMFT89466).
